Department of Economics

The Department of Economics was established in the year 2017. Since its  inception the department has been dedicated in producing graduates of high caliber. In 2017, the course was established to give higher education to rural Students through the efforts of the former Vice Chancellor Dr.Baskar. The department is mannered by academically well-qualified and experienced faculty members who consistently involve themselves in academic activities to make them updated with the current development in Economics Domain, which ultimately benefits our students.

The Department of Economics aims to be a nationally and internationally esteemed academic institution dedicated to producing graduates who have a comprehensive understanding of economics principles and are equipped with the skills and knowledge to advance the field of economics through research, innovation, and application of theory to real-world scenarios.

We are committed to providing our students with a knowledge and skill base that will enable them to make significant contributions to the field of economics. We aspire to accomplish this by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning through the development of modern curricular that emphasizes interdisciplinary studies, critical thinking, and the application of economic principles to real-world situations. We aim to promote research, encourage community engagement, and foster an environment of academic exchange that allows us to engage with various stakeholders domestically and internationally.
